Hello again LA Hackers! In this post we are bringing you the best things to do this month of November in 2023. Its a great time of year here in Los Angeles with our beautiful and calm weather.

While many cities across the country are already starting to get all bundled up, we are still enjoying all kinds of outdoor events and entertainment, and throwing picnic gatherings and outdoor music festivals! Yes this is LA in the Fall.

So here we have for you an incredible list of fun things to do this vibrant, and pumpkin spiced month of November.

1 – Thanksgiving in LA

Description:

This month we are celebrating one of the biggest holidays of the year, and that is Thanksgiving.  Many of us enjoy gathering around enjoying delicious food, while others are eager to know what is open during this holiday so they can get out of the house.  Not to worry, there is plenty to do in LA during Thanksgiving week.

One of our favorite things to do in LA the Friday after Thanksgiving is watching an outdoor movie.  There is nothing better than watching a classic movie outdoors, with some delicious seasonal treats.  Ovation Hollywood, or Rooftop Cinema Club El Segundo or Downtown, are awesome options.

November is also has the biggest shopping day of the year. So get off the computer and go out shopping for Black Friday Deals! Take advantage of this once a year traditional event, where your favorite stores have all your favorite items on sale. Of course there are the luxury malls like Westfield Century City or the large discount outlets like Citadel

Have a Thanksgiving picnic.  You know your not going to be able to finish that Turkey dinner and all the extras. So bring your Thanksgiving leftovers or sandwiches to your favorite park and enjoy a delicious picnic with your dog or friends.  Don’t want to go to the park? Visit one of our amazing Botanic Gardens or the beach.

Interested in working off that day of eating? Then make sure you sign up for a local Turkey Trot. Join the 11th annual Turkey Trot in LA on November 23rd from 8 am to noon.  The race  begins in front of City Hall, you can arrive as early as 6:30 am to receive your race packet.  The benefiting partner of this event is The Midnight Mission which provides essential human services to those experiencing homelessness.  Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
