One of our favorite things about living in Los Angeles is that there are always new and exciting restaurants to check out. Of course we all have our go to list of local favorites and OG spots, it is also exciting to keep and up to date list of recently opened exciting eateries.
Here is your list of new or recently opened spots with great food and ambiance to treat your self and those you care about to not only a good meal but a great experience. In this article you will find great options from delicious pizza to mesmerizing French dishes with gorgeous presentations.
1 – Bazaar Meat
Description:
José Andrés is back in LA! If you enjoyed the delicious menu perfected by this amazing Spanish chef in his restaurant The Bazaar by José Andrés in Beverly Hills, you will be pleased to know that the talented chef is back to Los Angeles.
His new home is at the beautiful LA Grand, located just steps from Walt Disney Concert Hall. Although we are still waiting on opening date at the time of this writing (estimated late July 2022), we are very curious and excited to enjoy this chef’s remarkable creations.
Another anticipated restaurant of José Andrés is San Laurel, this new restaurant is located on the 10th floor of the Conrad LA which will officially open on July 6th. It features a very elegant atmosphere and an incredible menu with flavors of Spain and California.

2 – Smoke City Char Bar
Description:
There is a new barbeque spot Downtown, Angelinos! This new spot Smoke City Char Bar is already creating a big buzz with its beautifully modern and industrial style interior and huge back patio in the Arts District. But what we really like the most is the satisfying menu, plenty of smoked meats, delightful side dishes, draft beers and sangria.
So what to eat? Well if you love BBQ then of course the meats! They are smoked to perfection so you will be happy with your choices and they also have jack fruit options for your non carnivore companions. Try their mouthwatering barbeque wings with gorgonzola dip. And you can get wings for only a dollar at happy hour!

3 – Manzke
Description:
Looking for a more upscale of fine dining option or simply craving something elevated for your palate on the tasting menu? Look no further than Manzke. This new exciting restaurant has opened on Pico Boulevard near Beverly Hills, to the delight of locals who love a French inspired tasting menu and don’t mind spending a bit of money. Yes this experience is priced at $225 per person, with optional wine pairing starting at $160 per person.
But if you want a first class experience this is a very fine choice that will not disappoint your expectations for flavor and good service. This new tasting menu concept provides diverse of flavors that are inspired locally and abroad.

4 – Pizzeria Bianco
Description:
If you have ever visited Row DTLA and smelled the delicious smells coming from the ovens of Pizzeria Bianco then you know exactly why this spot has made it to our list. Yes, its pizza but their amazing creations are an elevated version and they are as beautiful as they are tasty.
Chris Bianco is a native New Yorker and the owner of Pizzeria Bianco and has brought his tasty menu and cities pizza king reputation right here to Los Angeles to offer us some pretty damn good pizza and pasta dishes.
If you find yourself at or near Row DTLA do make sure to stop by for some classic Big Apple comfort food like delicious spaghetti or lasagna and of course pizza pie at Pizzeria Bianco. With each pizza prepared with loving detail and fresh seasonal ingredients you will understand why though almost all pizza is good some are just on a whole other level.

5 – Fogo De Cháo – El Segundo
Description:
Already with 2 LA locations (Beverly Hills, and DTLA) there newest spot is El Segundo just minutes from the beaches. This sensational restaurant is heaven sent for every carnivore who packs a big appetite.
This is the perfect spot for a group party with with friends or family that really love to eat! Fogo De Cháo is a traditional Brazilian Churrascaria, serving up fire-roasted high-quality meats and as long as your card is green they keep it coming! Expect well seasoned meats prepared to perfection, and a market table featuring plenty of seasonal salads, fresh vegetables, and cheese.
Servers will appear frequently to carve right on your table delicious meats including rib eye, lamb, filet mignon, and bottom sirloin. Also expect your favorite Brazilian Pao De Queijo and side dishes including garlic mashed potatoes, caramelized bananas, and crispy polenta. Save room for dessert because the portions are very generous, we recommend their amazing acai cheesecake and also Crème Brûlée.
Are you not much of big eater but still want to taste that perfectly grilled meat? No problem! Come over for Happy Hour bites, Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm. They have a great menu of small bites, sliders, picanha burger, Brazilian empanadas, and polenta fries. And of course the list of cocktails and wine is ample and we recommend you try Caipirinhaa. This is a great new addition to the South Bay with excellent food and drinks, pleasant atmosphere, and great service.
