This year’s event marks a significant milestone as Rolex steps in as the Title Partner, underscoring its long-standing commitment to sailing. The partnership not only elevates the prestige of the Los Angeles leg but also enhances the overall fan experience with premium hospitality and immersive viewing opportunities.

The U.S. team, led by world match racing champion Taylor Canfield, will be vying for victory on home waters, aiming to dethrone the defending event champions from Spain.

Tickets for the Rolex Los Angeles Sail Grand Prix are now available on their website, with options ranging from Waterfront Grandstands at $80 to exclusive Waterfront Premium packages at $200.

For sailing enthusiasts wishing to get even closer to the action, the Bring Your Own Boat (BYOB) program offers prime on-water viewing positions starting at $500.

Every year our city of Angels offers a variety of events to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.  Our first suggestion is the Hermosa Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday, March 15. This annual parade showcases colorful floats, spirited bagpipers, and talented Irish dancers, creating a lively atmosphere that winds through the heart of Hermosa Beach.

Following the parade, attendees can enjoy live performances at Pier Plaza, making it a perfect family-friendly event to start the weekend.

For those looking to indulge in Los Angeles’ dynamic nightlife, several bar crawls are set to make St. Patrick’s Day weekend unforgettable.

On March 15, the Official Lucky’s St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl commences at La Cita Bar, offering participants a chance to explore multiple venues with exclusive drink specials, festive giveaways, and an after-party to keep the celebration going.

Similarly, the Los Angeles Official St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl on March 17 provides complimentary entry to numerous bars, each featuring themed cocktails and beers, ensuring a spirited evening for all involved.

From March 28 to April 27, Knott’s Berry Farm will host its annual Boysenberry Festival, a celebration of the park’s rich agricultural heritage and the unique boysenberry. Visitors can indulge in a variety of boysenberry-inspired dishes, desserts, and beverages crafted by Knott’s culinary team.

Experience the vibrant energy of Holi at the “Holi & The Beach” Festival, set to take place on March 29 and 30, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Seaside Lagoon in Redondo Beach. This annual event, produced by Radio5 Events, has become Los Angeles’ largest Holi celebration. 

Come and participate in this fantastic cultural festival featuring entertainment, live performances, color play with organic, skin-safe powders, and a variety of food vendors serving delicious vegetarian food.

Get ready to make some waves at the Dana Point Festival of Whales, happening Friday, March 7, to Sunday, March 9! This beloved annual celebration invites you to soak in breathtaking ocean views, spot migrating gray whales, and dive into a weekend full of fun.

4 – LA Marathon

The Los Angeles Marathon, presented by ASICS, is set to celebrate its 40th edition on Sunday, March 16. This iconic race invites thousands of runners from around the globe to experience its renowned “Stadium to the Stars” course.

Starting at Dodger Stadium, participants will traverse 26.2 miles through Los Angeles’ vibrant neighborhoods and past its famous landmarks, culminating at the finish line on Santa Monica Boulevard at Avenue of the Stars in Century City.

The marathon weekend, spanning March 14 to 16, 2025, offers a variety of events catering to different fitness levels. On Saturday, March 15, the LA Big 5K and LA Kids Run will take place, providing opportunities for families and younger runners to engage in the festivities.

Sunday features both the full marathon and the Charity Half Marathon, the latter exclusively for participants committed to fundraising for official nonprofit partners.

For those seeking an extra challenge, the LA Double Play allows runners to conquer races over two days, earning them three medals: one from the 5K, one from either the marathon or half marathon, and a special challenge medal awarded at the marathon finish line.
