March 2022 Events in Los Angeles You Dont Want to Miss

Here comes March and here comes plenty of events! Time to dig out your green shirt and also start preparing for Spring.  Many of us are feeling spirited and feeling lucky these days as we see more businesses coming back alive, and more events and entertainment on the way.

Hopefully Los Angeles and the rest of the world will stay on this track of things getting better.

Get ready to prepare your calendar with our list of local things to do this month.  We have concerts, festivals, and lots of drinking events.

1 – St. Patrick’s Day Get Togethers

Description:

Looking for ways to celebrate St Patrick’s day this year?  We are here to tell you what’s up here in Los Angeles so you can plan your activities.

The annual St Patrick’s Day Parade is coming back to Hermosa beach on Saturday March 12! That’s right Angelinos, head over to Hermosa Beach Pier Ave. that day from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and enjoy the seven block parade, bands, bagpipers, food, shopping and of course the gorgeous beach!

After the beach parade its time for a pub crawl! Long Beach is inviting us all to be Irish for the day and to come to their block party on Saturday March 12th. Starting at 1:00 p.m. enjoy many drink discounts at over 10 different venues.

2 – Concert Comebacks

Justin Bieber Concert Los Angeles

Description:

Many Angelinos were sad that some of their favorite performers had to postpone their performances, but now their back baby! Let’s start with Justin Bieber, who is known to put on big shows.  This concert has been schedule for March 7th and 8th at 7:30 pm, at Crypto.com Arena.

The Forum is also getting ready to welcome back Angelinos with big concerts including The Weeknd who will entertain you on Friday March 11th. And super popular guitar solo John Meyer is coming on March 13th, 15th and 16th.

Another great concert coming up is The Go-Go’s, they will be performing at Crypto.com Arena on Wednesday March 30th.  Also at Crypto.com Arena we’ll see Grammy award winner rapper Tyler the Creator, he will perform on Thursday March 31st. at 7:00 pm.

Be sure to check each concert update as you never know what will be canceled or delayed with Covid still lurking.

3 – The Queen’s Ball: Bridgerton Experience

Description:

LifeHacksLA is all about recommending unique and fun experiences, so here is one that will transport you to a Regency era.  The popular Netflix show Bridgerton is going all out with their live Queens Ball popup. Dress up for the occasion and have fun at this interactive event featuring acrobatic performances, music, cocktails, the Bridgerton soundtrack, and a dance show.

But wait there’s more!  There will also be fun interactions with actors, ball dancing and a string quartet.  Also, the beautiful ball will be completely decorated in the Regency era style making it feel like you stepped into the show.

This  immersive Bridgerton experience begins on March 29th.  Tickets are on sale now starting at $49.  You must be 17+ to attend and 21+ to drink.

4 – Museum Visits

NHM LA

Description:

Why not take some time in March to revisit your favorite museums?  Check out the Natural History Museum as their first Fridays sessions are back, and after hours there will be DJs and cocktails.

The Getty Center has launched a new free concert series in 2022! On March 12th and 13th enjoy a unique performance with traditional music from Afghanistan.  Don’t miss out this great opportunity to appreciate artists celebrating the Afghan new year.  This program is said to be a prayer for peace and a calling of love.

Another unique visit is to the original exhibit La Plaza Cocina, which is a museum dedicated to Mexican food at La Plaza de Cultura y Artes. Learn about traditional Mexican food, and Mexican – American dishes.

Also visitors can find a store carrying intriguing ingredients, cookbooks, decorative items, and utensils.  Enjoy!

5 – Knotts Boysenberry

Knotts Boysenberry Festival

Description:

March 18th – April 24th, 2022 is Knott’s Berry Farm’s Boysenberry Fest which honors its long-standing history with the fruit.  Come to this three-week festival celebrating unique foods, beer & wine, and delicious desserts.

Knott’s Berry Farm is the birthplace of the boysenberry! Indulge in over 75 boysenberry inspired dishes among many other events and activities.

After you’ve had your fill of boysenberry treats, you can also enjoy the theme park, of course!

Want more? Don’t forget to visit Redondo Beach on March 12th for the Festival of the Kite.  Also the Vegan Street Fair in LA is back, this year on March 26th and 27th, entry is free as always but you can purchase fast passes on their website.
