When you try to narrow down the best margaritas its not easy because there are so many great places to choose from and all of our taste buds may have different opinions.
But we think that most of us can agree that a good margarita should follow an authentic recipe and have fresh tasting ingredients and not awful artificial flavored syrups. Also, a good looking margarita should be part of the deal, right?
Well my dear Angelenos, here we came up with a list for you to find some of the most delicious and well presented margaritas, at spots that also welcome you with great deals.

1 – El Cholo
Description:
This classic original restaurant serving Angelenos since 1923 now has a total of 8 locations and continues providing an excellent menu with all the expertise we look for in a well developed margarita. This was actually the first restaurant introducing premium ingredients in a margarita.
Their margaritas menu is ample and has a variety of flavors with fresh premium ingredients such as organic blue agave, and fresh lemon juice.
Our favorite is the classic on the rocks, but you can also cant go wrong with their blended fruit margaritas if that’s more your style.

2 – El Zarape Melrose
Description:
Have you been yet El Zarape yet? It’s delicious! Everything here is made fresh and using quality ingredients so of course margaritas here are high quality as well. We recommend margarita classica, but you can also get jalapeno, cucumber, and fruit margaritas.
Enjoy some well made margaritas with good ingredients. El Zarape is open daily from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm and Friday and Saturday it’s open until midnight.
Two locations for your convenience, one in Melrose, the other one is in Beverly Boulevard. We love the great ambience and the restaurants beautiful unique mural which was hand painted by a Mexican artist.

3 – Guelaguetza Restaurante
Description:
This lively orange colored restaurant ( hard to miss) displays vibrant art on its walls and has brought happiness to thousands of locals and visitors for their remarkable dishes with delicious flavors made with good quality and fresh ingredients.
You can also find here some pretty tasty and refreshing margaritas made with effort and care and rich ingredients. Be warned that its a popular place though! They are currently taking reservations two weeks in advance, but they prefer walk-ins so best bet is off hours.
This restaurant, boutique and market is located in W. Olympic Boulevard and it’s open daily until 9:00 pm, Friday to Sunday until 10:00 pm.

4 – Casa Sanchez
Description:
A very nice with the vibes restaurant serving fine Mexican food with authentic flavors from recipes passed down through the generations like their salmon al tequila.
There is a lot lot of extra bonuses to like at Casa Sanchez with its pretty atmosphere, live music, and 1/2 off wine bottles every Thursday being some of the biggest highlights.
We recommend classic margaritas but we have heard the strawberry ones are extremely popular here as well.
Located in Centinela Ave. It opens daily from 5 to 11:00 pm Sunday 4-10 p.m. Their Happy Hour is 5-7 p.m.

5 – Te’Kila
Description:
If what you are looking for is a good happy hour margarita, then Te’Kila is your spot. Happy hour here runs every night from 4 to 8 p.m. and for just 5 bucks you get house margaritas and patron shots among other drinks.
Margaritas menu here is unbeatable because its gigantic and has tons of options.
Pitchers are available, lots of great flavors to choose from, and all the ingredients you expect like fresh fruit, fresh lemon juice etc.
If you want some eats with your drink they have a pretty big food menu as well to go with all the margarita choices!
You can find them in Hollywood, opened every day from 11:00 am to 2:00 a.m.
