New Year’s Eve is approaching fast and we are all looking forward to 2022 hoping it will be much easier on us than 2020 and 2021 were.
Of course when it comes to NYE Los Angeles provides us all kinds of opportunities to ring in the Ne Year with a variety of fun activities and we can choose the type of celebration we want.
Are you ready to dance away all the things you want to leave behind this year, and re-energize your self with new hopes and goals? We have some great suggestions for enjoying some of the many events LA is preparing for the celebration of the New Year’s Eve.
Bring your date to a roof-top, attend a theme party, sail away in a beautiful and fun boat party or watch fireworks. And lets welcome the New Year with anticipation and hope of positive things to come!
1 – NYE Yacht Party – Newport Beach

2 – Firework Shows
Description:
We all love to see fireworks on New Years Eve, it’s fun, beautiful and even romantic to see the night sky all lit up. If you already have a place to be for New Years Eve but want to watch fireworks too, then come scope out one to these spots where you can enjoy the free fun show outside.
Our first recommendation is Angels Point, this is because it is located in Elysian park overlooking the Dodger Stadium, from this point you can also see Downtown LA, Hollywood and Santa Monica. A spectacular view of fireworks from every angle!
Other great places to spot fireworks from include the Griffith Observatory and the US Bank Tower downtown. You can also catch some great fireworks at our beloved theme parks including Disneyland and Universal Studios. If you don’t want to pay to get in you should still be able to see these theme park fireworks from nearby right outside the properties.
Location: Angels Point Rd, Los Angeles, CA 90012
3 – Luxury Rooftop Parties
Description:
Most of us are ready to raise the glass and welcome in the New Year and 2022 with hopes of better experiences and new goals.
And what better place to do it than on a gorgeous Los Angeles Rooftop? We have lots of spectacular ones in our city and most are open for NYE and ready to welcome you to come celebrate in style! So pick your favorite LA rooftop, bring your friends and enjoy the party.
We have a few suggestions for you. Harriet’s Rooftop in West Hollywood is our first pick. Your reservation includes a DJ spinning mashups, a 5 hour premium bar and of course the unbeatable vibes of a panoramic rooftop with views of Los Angeles.
Want more rooftops? New Year’s Eve will be also celebrated at Skybar at the Mondrian, and if you want a more classy part there is the rooftop party at the Santa Monica Proper Hotel.
Location: 899 Francisco St, Los Angeles, CA 90017
4 – Moonlight Party Cruise
Description:
This is our second suggestion for celebrating the New Year on the water but what can we say? We love the aqua life even in the Winter! This cruise party is called the ‘Moonlight Pier Pressure NYE Party’ and it sails from Marina del Rey, is ready to entertain guests 21+ on New Year’s Eve with 2 DJs, open bar, appetizers, sky deck with mesmerizing views, and a buffet dinner for VIP guests.
Dress to impress and join the fun New Year’s countdown at his super party aboard the Entertainer Yacht. Beautiful views, buffet style 4 course dinner, champagne service, open bars, dance floor, and party favors.
Cruise time is from 9:00 pm to 1:00 am. Highly encouraged that you check in early at 8:15 p.m. Parking is free at Dock 52 on Fiji way which is about 10 minute walk. You can also pay for parking at Fishermen’s Village.

5 – LA New Year’s Eve Parties
Description:
If you are in the mood to really party you can celebrate the New Year’s at a big LA bash. Poppy, one of the hottest spots in Los Angeles, is throwing a night to remember on December 31st with a 5 hour open bar, live DJs, and a complementary glass of champagne for the countdown.
Prohibition NYE is back in a big way at Union Station this year! That’s right Angelinos, flap around your 1920s outfit while waiting for the 60 foot midnight ball drop. You will also enjoy theatrical burlesque, live jazz and DJ’s spinning all night. There is also a premium open bar featuring your favorite cocktails and champagne.
Want to celebrate in a really unique way? You can see the Aquarium of the Pacific probably like you have never seen it before. At night and without thousands of kids running around. The Night Dive is throwing their NYE bash right inside this popular Aquarium with live bands at the Great Hall and DJs spinning on the galleries. There will also be Karaoke, a photo booth and a confetti countdown.
Drinks available at the cash bar and food at Café Scuba. This event is 18+ only.
