2 – Aperol Spritz at Eataly

Description:

You are familiar with a spritz drink, right? For some people its a must every time they go out for brunch, or before dinner.  But in case you don’t know what Aperol is, we are here to help.  Aperol is a traditional Italian aperitif that has a vibrant orange color because of the way the alcohol is infused with oranges and herbs. Sounds good right? Well it also makes for a great picture!

Eataly, a remarkable Italian market and restaurant at Westfield Century City on Santa Monica Boulevard, prepares some of the best aperol spritz you can get in California.  Eataly has some amazing food and cocktails but this particular drink is one of the most popular.

In fact the drink is so popular here, that they decided to share their recipe on the website because of the high demand.

3 – Tropical Drink at the Tonga Hut (LA’s Oldest Tiki Bar)

Description:

It’s no secret that new spots in LA get a ton of buzz and that’s why there is always a new bar or cocktail spot popping up somewhere in our city to check out.   But there are a few classic, original places like Tonga Hut that are still standing after so many years of seeing other places come and go.

We can’t help but to feel appreciative for the good vibes and nostalgia the Tonga Hut brings with its history and consistent experience, which is a big part of what makes places like this so special. And Social Media wasn’t around when it first opened but they still have some of the most Instaworthy cocktails you can get.

Established in 1958, Tonga Hut is officially the oldest Tiki Bar in LA. It was part of a big trend in the 1950s that was called the Tiki takeover. After World War 2 Tiki bars started appearing all over the US and especially in California. Most disappeared as the popularity of the trend declined but not the Tonga Hut.

This tropical oasis in San Fernando Valley still today invites all of us for a tropical drink anytime of the year and the experience is not that much different then it was way back in the 50s when it first opened.  Aloha!

4 – Moscow Mule at Clifton’s Republic

Description:

Although there is an ongoing dispute where the Moscow Mule’s was first created (some say LA and some say NY) our city has a great appreciation for the classic drink. For those of you who love a well made Moscow Mule and like to enjoy the drink in great ambience, we recommend you pay a visit to Clifton’s Republic.

This spot is absolutely phenomenal in every way, from its décor and ambience to their creative menu, fun flavors and of course the fascinating history. If you are going to enjoy this classic LA cocktail you might as well go all in and enjoy at this classic LA hot spot.

To capture an Instaworthy cocktail in an Instaworthy place come to Clifton’s and try that Moscow Mule you are craving, you won’t be disappointed.

5 – Original Cocktails at the Spare Room Hollywood

Description:

It has been a while since this beautiful cocktail lounge closed its doors because of the pandemic, but now it is back stronger than ever and with a new beverage menu.  If you want a great tasting cocktail that also serves up for the Gram we recommend you try Player 001, made with delicious cucumber vodka or the Drag Queen’s Gambit. This one is a one of a kind combining flavors of gin and chili oils, and oh so good.

The perfect spot for an elegant evening, the Spare Room has the next level cocktails to match the vibes and put anyone who visits in good spirits.  This Instaworthy gaming parlor is located inside the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel and offers a hidden oasis away from the craziness of Hollywood Boulevard just steps away.

So for a good time and also an opportunity for great content, put on the bowling shoes, get your phone ready and enjoy the amazing drinks at the Spare Room.

6 – Pretty Tequila Sunrise

Description:

Although this classic drink originated in Arizona in the 30s, it was actually California that made it popular in the 70s .  Let the gorgeous and sexy Tequila Sunrise make your Instagram pictures more fun and come to life with colors.  And because lots of great Mexican restaurants are serving this classic cocktail, you can’t leave without enjoying some delicious Mexican food as well.

Our first suggestion for this classic California cocktail is Tequilas Bar and Grill in Van Nuys. The San Fernando Valley restaurant knows how to make some pretty tasty Tequila Sunrise cocktails that wont let you stop at one.

Our second pick is El Pescador Bar and Grill in Montebello. This awesome restaurant has some Instaworthy looking drinks, including of course  Tequila Sunrise which at this spot it’s actually called Herradura Sunrise.

More suggestions include Rodeo Mexican Grill with several locations around LA including Sunset Blvd.  And last but not least, El Compadre, this restaurant is loved by many Angelinos because of its gigantic delicious menu and also because of its romantic ambiance.  Come visit El Compadre and enjoy a picture perfect Tequila Sunrise, and don’t forget to order one of their many delicious dishes too of course.
