Where to See Fireworks in LA for 2021

Are you ready for July 4th in Los Angeles this year? Well after not having any public celebrations in 2020 people are ready to get out and see some spectacular fireworks again!

Now while there are not as many public fireworks shows as 2018 or 2019 we are happy to report there will be some public displays including some historic ones that have been around forever.

Are you are ready to celebrate the 4th with Firework shows again? If yes then get ready because we got the best events and spots for this years special celebration.

We are so excited to share this list with the main Independence Day events for all Angelenos.

Read out list and make sure you reserve the ones you need too early on so they don’t sell out. Plan ahead and you can choose where you are going to watch the fireworks in 2021.

 


1 – 4th of July Party Fireworks Cruise,  Newport Beach

Description:

Some of the most spectacular cruises are the 4th of July fireworks in Orange County.  We think everyone should have one of this in their bucket list to do one 4th of July and why not this year?

Cruise through the pretty Newport Harbor, and have fun watching hundreds of boats celebrating the holiday.

Once the sun goes down you will enjoy the fireworks show from a front row seat.  This event is from 7:00 to 9:30 P.M. and you need reservations and purchase tickets.

2 – Americafest, Pasadena

Description:

Want to hit up one of the most iconic and largest local fireworks shows in the country? Then you have to visit the Rose Bowl stadium.  They say they have the biggest July 4th event West of the Mississippi and we believe them!

You are guaranteed to fun and feel patriotic vibes at this over the top and marvelous event that presents an awesome motorcycle stunt show along with its world famous fireworks display.

The event is scheduled from 2:00 to 9:00 P.M. but check their website for more details and get your tickets, this event will be sold out quickly.

3 – July 4th Fireworks Spectacular with Kool & the Gang, Hollywood Bowl

Description:

The Hollywood Bowl is one of the premiere entertainment concert venues in California and its ready to step up its game for everyone who can make it there on July 4th.

This is the show to get down to it, while you celebrate your country with Kool and the Gang bringing their R&B and disco funk.

What could be more memorable for 2021 than celebrating America’s independence at the Hollywood Bowl on July 4th with spectacular fireworks show and Kool and the Gang?  Also, included in the show the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra will perform patriotic favorites.

Gate time is 6:00 p.m.

4 – Grand Park and The Music Center’s Block Party

Description:

The cultural celebration meeting place for our city is Grand Park in DTLA. And along with the Music Center they are putting on another massive July 4th block party!  This mega party celebrating July 4th will feature DJs and live bands and a heck of a show.

It’s a family friendly event and it’s free for everyone who attends so no need to rush for tickets.

This is the largest fireworks show in the city of Los Angeles and it will be launched from the roof of the Music Center’s Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.

This event starts at 3:00 until 9:30 P.M. but as usual lots of people will be there by noon or so.

5 – July 4th Fireworks Cruise – Long Beach

Description:

Watching fireworks from a cruise boat in Long Beach or O.C. has been a tradition of many Angelenos for a long time.

You can start this great tradition for your family now in 2021 or just try this one time but either way you will likely love it!

Prepare to celebrate independence day fireworks in a cruise in Long Beach, hosted by Harbor Breeze Cruises.  Watch the beautiful show from one of their awesome boats the Triumphant or the Caroline.  July 4th fireworks Triumphant cruise is at 7:45 P.M.. and Caroline is at 8:00 P.M.

You can call them or just stop by Harbor Breeze Cruises in Long Beach to get tickets, you can also purchase online but there is an extra $2 fee.
