If you love to explore Los Angeles we have some great suggestions for everyone.

1 – Celebrate Dad

Description:

One of the highlights this month is Father’s Day.  So we gathered some very special celebrations for you, happening around town. Our first recommendation is for all the dads who love some darn good bbq.

Treat Dad to a memorable Father’s Day this year at Tanaka Farms’ Hilltop Luncheon, so your papi can enjoy delicious smoked tri-tip, and smokehouse maple fired grilled chicken.  Also included a wagon ride up to the hilltop, lawn games and activities.  This event is designed for the whole family to have a fantastic time while celebrating Father’s Day.  Enjoy the wonderful views, food, drinks, games and activities.

Next recommendation, take dad to new heights this Father’s Day at Yanks Air Museum’s Pops & Props!   Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 15th, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and get ready for a day filled with aviation thrills, delicious eats, and memories that will soar.

Dads can explore the museum’s incredible collection of historic aircraft, getting up close with legendary warbirds and marveling at engineering marvels.

Also, there will be games and prizes and your dad gets to enter for a chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take flight in a historical aircraft like the UC-40 Electra or the T-6 Texan.  And of course you need to feed that hungry day. Yes, you can find delicious food and treats, and the one of a kind Aircraft Bar that is sure to be a hit.

For all dads who love sports! Father’s Day Tour and Dine at Sofi Stadium is our next recommendation.  Let dad indulge in a brunch buffet, and drinks in a premium suit followed by a behind the scenes tour of SoFi stadium.  Or take him to a Dodgers game, this is a classic way to celebrate Father’s Day.

5 – Catch an Outdoor Movie

Description:

Now that the weather is nicer your favorite cinemas have begun releasing more fun outdoor film schedules.  So grab your date, and blanket and watch a movie under the stars.

Here are our recommendations this month.  Let’s start with Cinespia, the granddaddy of LA’s outdoor movie scene, taking center stage at Hollywood Forever Cemetery. This June, they’re serving up a slice of 90s nostalgia with “Dazed and Confused” (June 8th) and a trippy musical adventure with “Across the Universe” (June 15th).

For a touch of urban chic, check out Rooftop Cinema Club. Perched atop LEVEL DTLA, they’re serving up double features all June long. Catch a classic mob flick like “Goodfellas” (June 1st) or a heartwarming sports romance with “Love & Basketball” (June 15th), all with the dazzling city skyline as your backdrop.

LA’s outdoor movie scene isn’t limited to central locations. Head over to Pasadena’s One Colorado for a fun and fashionable rom-com under the stars with “Crazy Rich Asians” (June 1st). Or, dive into the world of Avatar with Street Food Cinema’s screening of “Avatar: The Last Airbender” at the Autry Museum (June 15th).

Many outdoor movie events offer more than just the film. Street Food Cinema, for example, is renowned for its delicious lineup of food trucks, ensuring you can satisfy your taste buds alongside your cinematic cravings. Cinespia often features DJs and live music before the movie starts, setting the mood for a fun night out.

We hope you enjoy all the great activities available this beautiful month of June as much as we do.  Have fun everyone!
