1 – Incredible Food and Drink Pop Ups

Description:

For food and drink pop ups Pasta Ramen is our first pick. This exquisite experience is a  Wafu-Italian omakase with 10 courses inspired by the Wafu pasta concept in Tokyo.  This culinary experience is reserved for only 10 people at a time and takes place at a secret location. But you can expect to shell it out if you want to spoil yourself because it comes out to $295 per person.

Polish Pop Up in Culver City is back bringing an all vegetarian menu.  Come get delicious bites including  pickle soup, pierogi, and classic Polish cheesecake.  Visit them on December 9th and 10th at 9355 Culver Blvd from 5 to 8 pm.

Dinner, wine, and Burlesque! Sounds like a fun combination to us!  This awesome pop up at Melody Wine Bar, is a one night only dinner, and show prepared by chef Ashley Wentling.  Your $125 ticket includes a 3 course meal, welcome drink, and burlesque show.

2 – Holiday Pop Up Bars

Description:

LA has some awesome pop up bars this season! These phenomenal bars have stepped up to the spirit of Holiday for us adults that still have a little kid inside.  Experience fun themes of Santa, wizards and even yetis.  And most have great seasonal food and drink specials served in fun cups or glasses.

Blitzen’s is one of our favorites with the fun seasonal drinks, holiday games, and even holiday movies.  And they contribute with People Assisting the Homeless for their annual donation drive, which is awesome bonus in this season of giving.

Idle Hour the barrel shaped legend in NOHO is ready for their annual Yule Ball.  The evening of wizarding entertainment features fun seasonal cocktails and food.  Also raffles, burlesque performances, and fire juggling.

If you find yourself in Downtown and want to class it up go check out the coffee bar at The NoMad, because this year they are offering Holiday Spectacular festive cocktails from 5 to 11 pm.

We also have the Alley Lounge in Culver City. Its a cool little speakeasy tucked away in Culver City and they have gone all out for the Holiday season. The bar is all dressed up wall to wall with decorations and they have a cool cocktail menu that includes drinks like; Sleigh Ride, Los Tres Reyes, Milk and Cookies and more.

Want to upgrade your selfie game? Add a Yeti! Kimpton Shorebreak Resort in Huntington beach presents Pier Summit Ski Lodge pop up bar, featuring a winter 80s style theme.  Expect a life size yeti, themed food and drink specials, and spectacular neon lights.

3 – Santa’s Pop Ups

Description:

Some of the best holiday pop ups stick to the classics like Christmas trees and pictures with Santa.  Our first recommendation is Santa’s North Pole Experience at Century City Mall. You can book your experience online and have a great time with the family capturing memories with Santa.  Also, the mall is featuring acapella performance by Squad Harmonix, who won 3 national awards last year. They are that good!

Hey its California so why not mix old St. Nick and water with Santa at the Aquarium! The Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach is currently offering a delightful program where kids can see Santa diving and also  play with real snow falling in the front lawn.

And last but no least, Autism Speaks invites all children within all spectrums of special needs and their families to take pictures with Santa before the mall opens.  This sensory-friendly experience is available at Glendale Galleria, Stonewood Center, Del Amo Fashion Center, Lakewood Center, and Los Cerritos Center.

Description:

You can now shop your favorite Netflix shows at this permanent pop up store that recently opened at The Grove LA.  Find fun merchandise based on hit Netflix shows including  Gabby’s Dollhouse, and Stranger Things.  You can also find some cool collectible figures and Funkos.

This great pop up is a favorite of those looking for taking creative pictures with life size characters from their favorite Netflix shows like Stranger Things, and Bridgerton.

But for the month of December they have stepped up even more! The second floor of the store has transformed into the Netflix Holiday House. This special popup that is temporary features holiday themed displays from Pinocchio, Enola Holms, The School for Good and Evil and Slumberland.

Also expect more interactive and social-media-ready experiences. There are some secret rooms and surprises that we wont ruin by going into detail so make sure you get their quick because it goes away after December.
