1 – Visit a Pumpkin Patch
Description:
Its more than just a trip to pick pumpkins when you go to Mr Bones Pumpkin Patch. It is for sure one of the most popular pumpkin patches and the people who want to see and be seen go to this one.
There are also all the usual fun activities you would expect like the straw maze, face painting, pony rides, lots of pumpkins ready to be painted or carved, bounce houses, slides and more.
Don’t miss the fun by visiting Mr. Bones this Halloween season. Just make sure you look your best!

We are not kidding when we say Mr. Bones is the LA Pumpkin Patch to see and be seen. There is a very good chance you will someone you recognize strolling through the patch as this is the known Pumpkin spot for celebrities.
If that is what you are into than this is the patch for you.
2 – Halloween Horror Nights, Universal Studios
Description:
This is one of the most popular attractions in all of Los Angeles during Halloween. OnlyUniversal can you get next level Halloween entertainment. You will find yourself face to face with monsters and terrorizing attractions like the Creepshow, Holidayz in Hell, The Walking Dead and many more.
Horror Night starts at 7:00 pm and closes at 2:00 am from early September until early November.
Purchase tickets ahead of time because this event sells out very fast and once that happens you won’t be able to get tickets at the gate.
There are also limited express access tickets that you can purchase and enjoy express access to each maze.

Halloween Horror Nights gets jam packed the closer you get to Halloween. This can mean really long lines! It might be a little bit out of the spirit but if you want to save yourself from these crazy lines we recommend going in September or November.
3 – The Spadena (Witch) House
Description:
Like storybook houses? The “Witch” House in Beverly Hills also known as Spadena house, is like no other and offers the perfect backdrop for your Halloween centric photo op.
Some locals call it the LA Hansel and Gretel’s house but its more commonly called the Witch House.

Come during the day to get a great pic of the Spadena House but if you have kids make sure you stick around for trick or treating after night fall.
Beverly Hills and this neighborhood specifically is known for passing out very generous portions and giant size candy bars!
4 – Night of the Jack
Description:
From October 3rd to November 3rd enjoy a fairly new Halloween family friendly event.
The large grounds King Gillette Ranch is transformed into a spooky Fall playground of hand carved and illuminated Jack O’lanterns, that will keep you and your family entertained.
Also, find food trucks, cocktails, gift shop and this year there will be a SpongeBob SquarePants installation thanks to Nickelodeon.

Night of the Jack is located in the swanky, celeb filled neighborhood of Calabasas. So this is another sure fire spot to see celebrities.
They are known to come here with their families and enjoy the pumpkins and entertainment just like everyone else. Just be sure if you decide to sneak a picture you are not to obvious about it.
5 – Dia de Los Muertos at Hollywood Forever Cemetery
Description:
This famous Mexican tradition does not always fall on Halloween . In fact for 2019 its not even in the month of October but instead November.
That will not stop the huge party as its celebrated all over LA on Saturday November 2nd for 2019.
On that day is when the famous Hollywood Forever Cemetery presents its version of the 20th annual Dia de Los Muertos celebration.
This beloved Mexican traditional holiday commemorates family and friends who have died and intends to help them in their spiritual journey. It also happens to fit in perfectly with the Halloween season.
The theme this year is the Monarch butterfly as a symbol of dreamers and immigrants whose journeys resemble the annual migrations the butterflies make between Mexico and the U.S.
Also at the Cemetery you can enjoy live musical performances during the festivities.
