Our next recommendation is The Getty Center. Entrance to explore the Getty Center is completely free! (although you will need to pay for onsite parking) This architectural masterpiece offers not only world-class art collections but also breathtaking panoramic views of the city. Delight in the stunning modernist architecture, beautifully manicured gardens, and the impressive collection of art, ranging from ancient manuscripts to contemporary masterpieces. Have fun taking memorable pictures of the Getty grounds.
Also be sure to visit the Hammer Museum. This hidden and underrated gem in the heart of the city is a true treasure trove of contemporary art and culture. 2 – The Griffith Observatory

Take your younger adventurers and explore The California Science Center’s interactive science exhibits, including the Space Shuttle Endeavour. The Science Center offers permanent free admission to its regular galleries.
Wander through the beautiful Exposition Park Rose Garden, featuring a stunning collection of over 200 varieties of roses. It’s a perfect spot for a peaceful stroll, a picnic, and Instagram-worthy photos.
You cant leave the park without visiting The Natural History Museum which offers free admission to LA residents every day from 3 to 5 pm. Discover fascinating exhibits on dinosaurs, gemstones, and the natural history of the region. They also offer Free admission on the first Tuesday of every month.

Attending a live show taping is one of the best fun and free things to do in LA. You’ll get to see your favorite shows being made live, and you may even get to see some celebrities up close!
Once you have tickets to a taping, be sure to arrive early. Audience members are usually required to be in their seats at least 30 minutes before the taping begins. There may also be a dress code, so be sure to check the show’s website for details.
