It may not be typical fall weather when in Los Angeles but we still don’t want to miss out on the seasonal fun.
One extremely popular activity for Angelenos in Autumn is to visit one of the many family farms nearby.
From pumpkin patches to apple picking these are some of our favorite family farms for you to visit. Just be sure to bring your sunscreen!
1 – Willowbrook Apple Farm
Description:
This beautiful farm in Yucaipa California, offers a family experience like no other, you get to pick your own apples, berries and even press your own cider!
For the most popular month of October the farm is open Fridays from noon to 6 pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 4pm.

Want a special night time experience? Willowbrook has a special evening bonfire with s’mores, appetizers and a wine tasting, every Saturday and Sunday in the month of October.
2 – Underwood Family Farms
Description:
A remarkable farm popular for its delicious fruits and vegetables, also delights its customers with gift baskets. You can purchase your produce in their market or you are also welcome to hand pick your own from their field!
The farm also offers educational farm tours and an animal center that has animal displays and pony rides.
You can also make a reservation and host birthday parties.

Underwood Family Farms is not just the farm to visit in the Fall. They have special events all year long including in the Spring and Christmas time. Check their website for the schedule.
3 – Tanaka Farms
Description:
This farm has it all, pumpkin patch, sunflower fields, farm animals, you-pick vegetables and farm tours.
During the season the Pumpkin patch is open every day from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Parking is free Monday through Friday.
Weekends are super speical fun at the farm!
If you come here on the weekends you can enjoy delicious carnival food at the Tanaka Grill. There are also games, face painting, wagon ride, corn maze and much more.
Remember parking is not free on weekends.

4 – Tapia Brothers Farm
Description:
Come visit the large and crazy fun corn maze at Tapia Brothers Farm during this harvest season. Their farmers market is also worth the drive with fresh delicious produce ready to satisfy people who only want the freshest local vegetables and produce.
The farm has a Great Pumpkin Fest with lots of games, kids play area with bounce houses, wagon ride and pony rides on weekends.

5 – Riley’s at Los Rios Rancho
Description:
This terrific farm has beautiful grounds popular for weddings, birthdays and other events. From labor day until Thanksgiving you can enjoy their apple season.
Come and pick delicious apples, berries and pumpkins.
In Autumn they host their Festive Fall, which offers market barn, nature trails, life music, petting zoo, wagon and tractor rides, horse back rides, and even hard cider tasting.
This is a great farm to explore with the entire family and really have a delightful time.
