3 – Holiday Events for the Whole Family

Frozen & Encanto on Ice

Description:

December is all about taking time out to spend time with family so we have some super family friendly suggestions for you!

Our first recommendation is the much anticipated Dog Man: The Musical A Paw-some Production for the Whole Family.  Dog Man, the crime-biting sensation who is part dog, part man, and ALL HERO, is coming to the stage in Los Angeles! Based on the worldwide bestselling hit series by Dav Pilkey, Dog Man: The Musical is a hilarious and heartwarming new production that is sure to entertain audiences of all ages, and it is running at the Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City until January 7, 2024.

For our next family friendly suggestion get ready to be transported to the magical worlds of Frozen and Encanto with Disney on Ice!  That’s right Angelenos, our second suggestion for the whole family is the amazing Frozen and Encanto production.  In the first half of the show, audiences will journey to Arendelle with Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven.  Expect stunning choreography, dazzling costumes, and unforgettable music.

In the second half of the show audiences will meet the Madrigal family, who live in a hidden enclave surrounded by enchanted mountains. The show will follow Mirabel, the only member of her family without a magical gift, as she tries to save her family and their home from a mysterious force. The show will feature all of your favorite songs from the film, including “We Don’t Talk About Bruno,” “Surface Pressure,” and “The Family Madrigal.”

There are only 4 shows so make sure to grab your tickets because all will likely sell out.

Last but not least we suggest Deck the Halls with the Holiday Sing-Along at Walt Disney Concert Hall.  Spread the joy with a festive sing-along at the famous downtown LA Walt Disney Concert Hall.  This year, the Los Angeles Philharmonic is once again hosting its annual Holiday Sing-Along, a beloved tradition that has been bringing families together for years.

The concert will feature a variety of arrangements, from traditional orchestral arrangements to more contemporary pop and rock interpretations.

There will be something for everyone to enjoy, from classic carols like “Silent Night” and “O Holy Night” to popular holiday hits like “All I Want for Christmas Is You” and “Jingle Bells.”  Happy Holidays everyone!!
