5 – Best Shows in May
Description:
Feeling excited about attending one of the awesome upcoming shows this month? Check out these highlights and events happening near you. Prepared to feel transported from the twilight of the Russian Empire and the euphoria of Paris in the early 1900s, in one of the biggest hits Broadway musicals, Anastasia. Showing at Fred Kavli theater in Thousand Oaks.
We are sticking with the Fred Kavli theater in Thousand Oaks for our next suggestion as they are also featuring Tootsie on May 30th and 31st. The 11th time Tony nominated Tootsie is wowing audiences in this national tour. Adapted from the 80s film, this show will entertain you big time with its comedy, music, energy, costumes and much more.
Finally our last but not least recommendation is to check out eight time Grammy winner, Emmy winner, musician, activist, producer, humanitarian, the great Ziggy Marley as he performs at Walt Disney Concert Hall on Tuesday May 9th at 8:00 pm. Come over and enjoy an evening of delightful sounds in ways only Ziggy can deliver, including reggae music together with funk, blues, and rock in an incredible venue.
