3 – Ocean’s Prelude at Terranea

The Spa Terranea

Description:

If you are looking to spoil yourself with a special experience this is probably our most luxurious recommendation.  The Spa at Terranea has some of the most serene indoor and outdoor oceanfront relaxation areas as the backdrop during your treatments.  Featuring 25 treatment rooms,  this amazing resort that rests on the cliffs overlooking the Ocean really knows how to pamper its guests.  To use their facilities become a member for the day through the websites and get access to the Spa amenities, fitness center, and pool.

Our massage recommendation at The Spa at Terranea is of course the Ocean’s Prelude.  This is an experience that takes place at the spa’s signature suite where the views are gorgeous, and you don’t need a relaxing soundtrack because you will hear the real sound of the ocean’s waves crashing below.

Your massage begins with a dry body brushing, followed by a very nourishing seaweed wrap.  Next you will be submerged in the most relaxing salt water bath.  And to conclude this wonderful pampering experience, you will receive a warm oil massage. This would be a perfect choice for a staycation weekend getaway.
